Shuko and aishiko legality?

ok im wondering if it would be legal to wear my shuko and aishiko around town i do not understand why they would be considered illegal because they are not a "knuckle" because they cover the palm and back of ur hand not ur knuckles also its a tool not a weapon it could be used as an improvised weapon but its intended to be a climbing tool and how about aishiko? they are legal right? they are more or less the same as spiked shoes
