Can someone help. What's the name of this movie?

The movie i think came out in the 90's. It's about a married couple who goes through their life together. They are both like writers or directors in Hollywood. They have three kids. Two daughters and a son. The oldest daughter drops out of college and becomes an actress and even works on a film with her parents. The youngest daughter runs away from homes as a young teen and her family finds her a few years later and shes pregnant. But she gives up her baby and ends up marrying her friends much older father and they have alot of kids together. The son turns out to be gay and the father has a problem with it but learns to accept it. Him and his boyfriend end up getting into a car accident and they both get hurt really badly or one of them dies. I forget. Does anyone know this movie? It's definately a drama.
