Why is my sunburn turning yellowish?

I got a pretty bad sunburn while being in the sun for 3 days shooting a film. Now a part of my nose is turning yellowish.. I am worried even though the overall my skin has calmed down after applying lotion for the entire day today. I will go ahead and get aloe tomorrow morning.. What do you think? Should I be worried? Is it typical for a bad sunburn to cause skin to yellow or very slightly swell?
