How Do I become a female character again many years later in fable 2 for xbox 360?

I am a female character in fable 2 (because I am female obviously) after I complete the spire mission on the ship and years went by, when I come back and my child is older, I come back as a male character. Is there anyone else who had this issue and if so how the heck do I fix it?
