What is Cathy's personality like in Wuthering Heights?

I overheard my mom saying to someone that Cathy in Wuthering Heights reminds her of me, because she'd just been watching the film haha. I was wondering if this is a compliment and what is Cathy's personality like? I'm also going to be studying this at school :P
