Is it true America is becoming more open to asian culture?

well excluding indian/arabic, just the oriental asian culture? Like compared to 20, 30 years ago? is it true? I've seen some asians in films, tv shows and commericials...(actually usually koreans and sometimes japaneese and chinese) and in hollywood?
