Can I save Albions people in Fable 3 If I get out of debt being GOOD?

I've heard that when you complete the game being GOOD everyone dies. I was wondering if I'm good and raise the amount needed (btw how much is that?) by renting out houses and stores at Highest price but still keeping my promises can I still comeout a winner?
